Paul Collins is a lecturer at the School of Architecture Design and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University. He chairs and acts as a panel member on a number of programmes including the Emergency Planning Committee and the City Campus Regeneration User Group. Paul’s teaching interests relate to architectural and urban history, design briefing and sustainable technology including green roof developments. His talk will be focussing in on property, planning and development and concentrating in on green infrastructure including aspects of technical design, biodiversity, flood mitigation, energy consumption, well being and overall environmental, social and corporate governance.
Role
Paul has overall responsibility for students, staff and associated budgetary management for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Architecture; Civil Engineering; Interior Architecture; Architectural Technology and Interiors and Landscapes.
His teaching interests relate to architectural and urban history, design briefing, sustainability and green roof technology, corporate real estate, strategic planning and marketing, and the planning and development process.
